My life in travel began at the age of 10 when my parents sent me off to begin the first of many trips to spend summer vacations with my grandparents on the island of Kauai in the Hawaiian Islands.  In my college years, I was offered a position as a flight attendant with Saturn Airways flying commercial and military charter flights to Vietnam & Japan. Following completion of my BA degree in Geography/Transportation, I secured a sales position with Olympic Airways, the Greek national airline, then owned by Aristotle Onassis.  My employment with Olympic Airways gave me the opportunity to travel to Greece and cruise her islands as well as meet such people as Jackie Kennedy Onassis and hosting Christina Onassis during her short visit to San Francisco.  Later, I secured a sales position with Air France/UTA which began my 25 year career with the company. This provided me the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the world: traveling to all the continents from the Artic to Cape of Good Hope, Zanzibar to Tasmania, Uzbekistan to Cape Horne traveling and cruising many of the oceans and seas including many trips and cruises through French Polynesia and the fun opportunity of renting Marlon Brando’s over-water house for three weeks on my favorite island of Bora Bora. Two of my many highlights with Air France were the chartering, coordinating and escorting the Concorde aircraft on two separate occasions from Sacramento to Paris & Reno to Paris.

In 1993, after retiring from Air France, I joined Landmark Travel to open and develop the Cruise Division. Upon completing a certification program with Virtuoso as Virtuoso Voyager Club host, I hosted both clients & guests numerous times aboard cruise lines as Silversea, Radisson, Windstar & Cunard, to destinations such as Southeast Asia, Panama Canal, Baltic, South America, East Africa and Tahiti as well as the world cruise aboard the QE2.  Recently, I had the pleasure of hosting guests aboard the new Queen Mary 2 on her 18 day Presidential Inaugural return cruise to Southampton via Barbados, West Africa, the Canary Islands, Madeira and Lisbon.

In 2002, after traveling through and cruising the waters of Scotland over the years, I completed an extensive course sponsored by the University of Strathclyde and the Scottish Tourist Board where I received a diploma, in Glasgow, as a Scotsmaster Destination Specialist.

I am passionate about Hawaii - the land, people, spirit, culture, wellness & spa programs.  My interest and fondness for Hawaii developed from living there for more than eight years.

For my clients, my goal is to create memorable vacation experiences (to Hawaii and other destinations around the globe) by understanding my clients' dreams, desires, personality, special requirements, and commemorative events.

In addition to the Conde Nast Traveler "Top Travel Specialist" for Hawaii, I maintain specialist certification for Hawaii and other destinations such as Ireland, Canada, and Mexico.

I am committed to updating and refreshing my knowledge of destinations, hotels, cruise lines and tour companies.
